2011 Chateau des Milles Agnes Mozart
Classic Bordeaux. This one deserves gold medal. Everything as it should be: complex nose with strong black currant note, good taste, not a bit of sugar. Liked it, probably would buy more if it's still on sale at Haskell's. Had it with mahi-mahi pie, but it would go great with any red meat, poultry, high end fish like tuna or swordfish. Some people think that fish is only good with white (or, for adventurous, rose) wines. I would only say: try it once with red. Yes, fish with white meat, like cod, haddock, flounder etc doesn't go with red wines. But fish with denser meats, like tuna, marlin, swordfish, opa go with red wines perfectly. Salmon, too.
