Roumanin Côtes de Provence

 

Now Intermarché brought Rosé de Provence to Portugal. Not bad. Usual Provence notes: honey, citrus, spice. But Aldi's sells better one, and cheaper.

2025 Le Rotaie i Pastini

 It was the best Susumaniello rosé we tried this trip to Puglia. Hints of summer meadow, spices, citrus. Balance is unbelievable. Was great with a seafood mix.

2025 Meiolo Pinot Grigio

 You just can't go wrong with Pinot Grigio from Venezia. I only had problems with Cavit long time ago. But this one is great. Everything you expect from Pinot Grigio: light, crtisp, dry, with pleasant citrus hint. Great with any seafood.

2025 Salento Rosato

 The only Puglia rosé wine I didn't like. Drinkable, but way too simple.

Solemoro Salice Salentino

 Strange thing: reserva wine without mentioning the year. Anyway, was a good reminder of Salice Salentino, which I didn't have for many years. Exceeded expectations, taste was pleasant, a bit tart, with multiple berries and fruit.

2025 Nero di Troia Rosé

Good rosé from Puglia. As all susumaniello wines, interesting taste and nose: subtle hints of grass, citrus, spice. Overall good with seafood.

2025 Maseria Li Veli

 

First taste of rosé wines of Puglia. Very interesting rosé, made from local grapes Susumaniello. Good mix of things: a bit of summer meadow, a bit of spice, a bit of citrus. Overall perfect with seafood.

2024 Monsaraz Rosé

 Not impressed. Liked Monsaraz red. What is good for red, not so good for rosé. Overall not bad, but a bit harsh. Which makes it OK for some seafood (good for white fish), but not so good for others (not pleasant with pasta with shrimp).
