Old friend. Remember, about 7-8 years ago this wine was available locally and I liked it a lot. Then it disappeared. Now it's here again, bought it at Surdik's. Rare species, wine made of 100% Cabernet Franc. Always interesting, always different from mainstream Cabernet and Bordeaux. A little bit spicy, a little bit of sour cherry in the taste, lots of black currant. Another feature, quite surprising. We tasted it at the shop and were told that this wine is juicy. Quite unusual characteristic of wine, hard to imagine. But then we tasted it and... agreed.
Enjoyed it with smoked salmon pizza.
