2024 Aimé Arnoux Grenache-Caladoc
Total disaster. Undrinkable. I don't know if it's because the cork was cracked, although the crack didn't go all the way to the wine, or because the wine itself is bad. Don't care either way, will not buy again.
2024 Chateau le Bos
The second tasted bottle from Aldi's Christmas box. It's a bit simpler than two other bottles, still with black currant in the nose and taste. A bit of spice, no sugar.
Was very good with tuna, fried in everything mix.
2024 Château Tour des Murasses.
This is the first tasted bottle from Aldi's Christmas box of Bordeaux. On a lighter side of Bordeaux, still with good mix of berries and fruits in the nose and taste. A bit of spice, no sugar.
Was very good with sous-vide tuna.
2024 Château Roc de Minvielle
Very nice Bordeaux. Third tasted from this year's Aldi's Christmas box. This one is the best of the box. Not by much, they are all good, but a bit better. Nice rich nose and taste of multiple berries and fruits, with dominant black currant. No sugar. As all three wines, it's on the lighter side of Bordeaux. No sugar at all. A bit of tannines.
Was perfect match for a broiled flank steak.

2020 Richette by Patric Lesec
Very good Côtes du Rhône. 2016 was great, 2020 is almost as good. Complex nose and taste, with fruits and spices.
Was great with sous-vide duck breasts.

2016 Arcane la Papesse
A masterpiece. A mix of fruits and berries in the nose and taste. Noticeable taste of citrus. A bit of spices. Perfectly balanced. Great aftertaste. Even thogh it has 15% alcohol, it's soft and silky. Especially after aerator.
Enjoyed it immensely with baked rabbit.

Very good. Well balanced, with multiple fruits, including black and red currant.
Enjoyed it with salmon pizza.
2019 Pierron
Didn't like it. Yes, it's Bordeaux. There is a bit of black currant in the nose and taste. But it's bland. Won't buy it again.

Nice Beaujolais. Well balanced, with a hint of pear. But I liked Bel Air Rosé more...

2023 Cabriz
At least as good as 2022. Multiple berries, probably a bit more tannines. Aerator improves taste a lot.

2022 Jean Philippe Cazaux
Never saw before, never new such producer existed. Now I know. It's very good. Classic Bordeaux, with black currant in the nose and taste, some other fruits. Almost no sugar.
Was very good with smoked salmon pizza.

Côtes de Provence
Not appellation contrôlée, Year is not marked. But it's great! Rosé de Provence classic. Powerful honey note, you can smell it across the room. A bit of spices and citrus. Just a bit of sugar.
Enjoyed it with different seafood dishes.
2023 Papa Figos Rosé
Good Rosé. Hints of honey and spice. Powerful citrus notes. Very well balanced.
Was good with grilled fish.
2020 Château Haut Pognan
A masterpiece. Multiple fruits in the nose and taste, with powerful black currant, hints of sour cherry and raspberry. A bit of sugar, but it doesn't spoil the taste. Juicy, with rich aftertaste.
Enjoyed it with grilled tuna.

2018 Château Redon
Classic Bordeaux, a bit on a lighter side. Multiple fruits, with black and red currant, almost no sugar. Just a hint of a bitter note.
Was very good with ham and mushroom pizza.

2020 Vieux Planty
Very nice Bordeaux. Rich nose and taste. A mix of fruits in both. Seems sweet before the aerator, but after aerator it's very good.
Was great with baked salmon pizza.
2024 Primitivo Puglia Rosato
Courtesy of Aldi's. Nice, slightly sweet Róse. A bit of citrus, a bit of spice.
Was good with grilled white fish.

2024 Arteso Rosado
I love Rioja Rosado. It feels a bit more powerful than French Rosé wines, but has its own charm.
This one has complex taste of multiple fruits with citrus and spices.
2023 Mezquiriz
Didn't have much hope for this wine. Bought at Lidl in Salamanca because there wasn't much choice of Rosé wines.
It's good. For €0.99 it's great! Citrus and spice.
Went well with baked cod.
2020 El Coto Rioja
Didn't have it for many years. Loved it when it was available in USA. Now found it during our visit to Salamanca, Spain.
It's still great. Strong note of sour cherry, good balance, good response to aerator. Complex taste.
Was great with fried liver.
2022 Dona Julieta
Huge disappointment. As much as I liked 2021, this one is a failure. Seems it contains the same flavors, but balance is not there. Too sweet, a bit harsh, wine is not good.

Monte da Ferra
Nice Rosé. Fruits, citrus, a bit spicy. There is some sugar, OK for Rosé, but I wouldn't buy red of the same name.
Was good with Chilean sea bass.
2021 Dona Julieta
One of the best Portuguese wines I tried. Complex taste with multiple fruits, great aftertaste, almost no sugar.
Was great with mushroom and ham pizza.

2023 Guarda Rios
Decent Rosé. A bit of play on a tongue. Fruits and citrus in the nose and taste. But there are better Rosé wines in Portugal.

2021 Porta d'Armas
It was high-risk purchase. The only reason I bought it, 90 points from Wine Enthusiast. Sometimes it doesn't work, but this time, right on point.
Very good wine. Multiple berries in the nose and taste. Almost no sugar. Reacts perfectly to aerator.
Enjoyed it with choriço and mushroom pizza.

2023 Adegamãe Redblend
Adegamãe Rosé was good, so we decided to try red. The red is great! Powerful caramel note and a hint of raspberry. Very well balanced, almost no sugar.
Enjoyed it with ham and mushroom pizza and then with baked bonito. This wine would pair with almost any red meat and red fish.
