2014 Château la Commanderia de Saint Génis

Nice Bordeaux. It's milder than most Bordeaux wines, 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and only 5% Cabernet Cauvignon. Very interesting nose, mix of flowers and ripe berries, mostly strawberries. Taste with a strong note of ripe, on edge of being overriped, strawberry.
Was pretty good with smoked salmon pizza.

Root 1 Carmenere

Very good red from Chile. Never tried wines from this kind of grapes, it's mostly grown in Chile. Nice, powerful taste. Complex taste. Would buy again if price is right.

La Promenade

Another good Rosé from Provence. Interesting. Initial reaction: it'd honey dissolved in wine. Then you start noticing complexities. Some spices, some summer meadow in the aftertaste. Will buy it again.

2016 Bieler Pére & Fils

Very nice Rosé from Provence. Good combination of honey and spices. Was nice with seafood pizza.

2016 Haut Vol.

French Mediterranian coast Rosé. Not as classy as rose wines from Provence, but good overall. Hints of honey and spices, a little bit of sugar.

2016 Radio Boca Rosé

Good spanish Rosé. I liked red Rioja of that company, Rosé is pretty good too.

2014 Château Garreau

Classic Bordeaux. No sugar at all.

2015 Andreol Salavert

Very nice, classic Côtes du Rhône. All expected flavors: chokeberry, tobacco, leather. Not even a bit of sugar. Hope somebody will bring it to US someday.

2012 Château de Belcier

Very good Bordeaux bought at Costco. Absolute classic. All classic tones and nothing extra. Most important, almost no sugar.

2016 Landskroon Pinotage Rosé

Good Rosé from South Africa.  Reminds me Provence a lot. Same honey and spices. In blind tasting I would say "Provence" for sure.

2016 Kirkland Rosé de Provence

Good, classic Rose from Provence. Usually Costco sells good wines under Kirkland label, this is not an exception. As usual, honey and spices.

2015 Arcos Salice Salentino

I know Salice Salentino for at least 20 years. Like it. But this one is completely different. If it was a blind tasting, at the first swallow I'd say it's Bordeaux. Even after aerator. Wine matures fast, after some time in a glass it started showing some Italian notes. But still, nothing like Salice Salentino I got used to. Pretty good wine anyway.
Had it with smoked pork shops. Would be good with any meat, poultry, high-end fish.

2014 Vitiano Rosso

Very nice. Made of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese grapes. Tastes almost like Bordeaux, but still different. There is still something Italian in this wine. I like it, bought more already.
Was pretty good with pizza. Would be good with any meat, poultry and some fish.

2014 Château la Verrière

Good, powerful Bordeaux. Notes of black currant, red currant, sour cherry, spices. A little bit of chaulk, a hint of Médoc bitter note.
Was OK with smoked salmon pizza, but would be much better with strong beef or mutton dishes.

2015 Honoro Vera

Another good Spanish rosé. Fancy label. Quite good wine. Imagine rosé from Provence, but much more powerful. Honey, flowers, spices. And power.
Was great with shrimp dinner.

2010 La Tercera Reserva

Best Rioja I've ever had. Complex taste, complex nose. 2010, but not yet mature enough to drink without aerator. Softer than usual Rioja, which I like. No sugar at all, nothing to spoil the great taste.
Was a great complement to lam skewers dinner.

Mionetto

Prosecco. In a fancy bottle, wrapped in a wetsuit. No, really, it looks like that. What would you think? It tastes great. In a blind tasting, I wouldn't say it's from Italy. Smells like a good Champagne, tastes like it. Citrusy, buttery, with just a little bit of sugar.
Great Valentine Day wine.

2015 Castello del Poggio Monferrato Dolcetto

Nice red. Interesting nose, with some flowers in the background. Fruity taste, with lots of sour cherry. No sugar at all. Would buy again.
Was pretty good with barbeque chicken pizza.

2014 Château Rasteau

Wanted to try it for a long time, but price was always too high (yes, I'm cheap). Got it on sale for $12 at last. Worth every penny and then some. A masterpiece. Very complex nose and taste, don't even want to split it to components. Great aftertaste. Matures right in the glass, but aerator is necessary anyway.
Great with steak. Would be even better with venison, but I didn't have any.

2015 Château la Freynelle

Very interesting Bordeaux. Complex fruit nose and taste, with prevailing sour cherry and citrus, but there is a lot more. Some spices as well, less pronounced after aerator.
Great with a smoked trout pizza.

2014 Chateau Rauzan Despagne

Good Bordeaux. All classic notes plus a hint of a bitter note, usually associated with Médoc.
Was good with smokes salmon pizza.

2015 Domaine de Chapusse

Good Rosé. Combination of honey and spices, usual for Provence. Just in this one honey overpowers spices.
Was great wit fruits and chocolate dessert.

2014 Château Piochet

Very good Bordeaux courtesy of Surdik's. Initially seems to be on a lighter side, but first impression is wrong. Medium-bodied, almost no sugar (great!), notes of black currant, spices.
Went pretty good with smoked trout pizza.

2014 Bas-Rochet

Very good Bordeaux. Black currant, with red currant appearing after aeration.
Was great with Norwegian (with smoked salmon) pizza.

2015 Dauvergne Ranvier

Two guys from Rhône valley created a company with people in Bordeaux. Result is... interesting. After opening a bottle, it's Bordeaux all right. After aerator, you feel something strange. Half an hour later (and, with good decanting, may be mucj sooner) I would say it's pretty good Côtes du Rhône. Or you can think of it as of full-bodied Bordeaux.
Was great with seared veal. Wouldn't have it with any fish but tuna. Would buy it again if it were available in US.

2014 La Pierre de Peyssard

Classic Bordeaux. No extras. Black currant, spme tannins, good taste and aftertaste.
Had it with pan seared wahoo, good complement to food.
