2020 Kirkland Bordeaux Superioreux

Don't know what is the real producer. Hidden under some alphanumeric combination. 2019 was Petit Freyon, but this is something different, judging by location. Good overall. Strong sour cherry note, which somehow becames weaker after some time. Usual black currant Bordeaux note. No sugar.

Was very good with sous vide tuna.

Viña Chocolan Chardonnay

This one wasn't bad. Spicy, with some interesting notes. But this producer doesn't do a good job anyway. How can you have wine marked "Reserva" and do not put crop year on the label?

It was OK with seafood paella. But I wouldn't buy it again.

2020 Viña Chocolan Sauvignon Blanc

Chile makes a lot of good wines, that's a fact. It's a fact that not all Chilean wines are good, too. This is really strange. It's so spicy, tastes like they held it on black pepper for several months. Maybe there is some good taste underneath, but I couldn't recognize it. Barely drinkable.

2021 Santa Alicia Cabernet Sauvignon

A masterpiece. I like Chilean Cabernet, and this is one of the best. Complex taste, with powerful black currant note. Has interesting structure, it pours more like fruit syrup. But there is almost no sugar.

Was great with minute steak.

2022 Santa Alicia Sauvignon Blanc

I am a big fan of Cabernet from Chile. Never tried Chilean white wines. But during my Honduras vacation choice wasn't that big. So here it is. Very nice. There is some spice and a hint of honey in the nose and taste. And also something I can't recognize. Some tropical fruit. Good overall.

Was pretty good with seafood paella.
