2021 Porta d'Armas

It was high-risk purchase. The only reason I bought it, 90 points from Wine Enthusiast. Sometimes it doesn't work, but this time, right on point.

Very good wine. Multiple berries in the nose and taste. Almost no sugar. Reacts perfectly to aerator.

Enjoyed it with choriço and mushroom pizza.

2023 Adegamãe Redblend

Adegamãe Rosé was good, so we decided to try red. The red is great! Powerful caramel note and a hint of raspberry. Very well balanced, almost no sugar.

Enjoyed it with ham and mushroom pizza and then with baked bonito. This wine would pair with almost any red meat and red fish.

2022 Château Sensine

Another classic Bordeaux. Feels like 2022 was a very good year. This one is a bit unexpected. Strong nose and taste of sour cherry with a hint of black currant.

Enjoyed it with ham and mushroom pizza.

2022 Château Belle Cure

Classic Bordeaux. Strong nose and taste of black currant with a hint of red currant. Almost no sugar.

Was excellent with sous vide duck breast.

2022 Château de Moupas

Classic Bordeaux. Black currant in the nose and taste, a lot of tannins. A bit harsh after opening the bottle, even after aerator. But it's getting softer 20-30 minutes after opening.

Enjoyed it with sous-vide salmon pizza.

2023 Palmelão Rosé

 Decent Rosé. Honey and citrus.

2024 Beaujolais Nouveau Domaine des Nugues

Very good Beaujolais. A pity it was delayed in transit and we didn't drink it in time. Crisp, dry, fresh. With good fruity and light caramel notes.
